Step 1 – Install the EA File

1. Open MetaTrader 5

2. Click File → Open Data Folder

3. Navigate to:

   MQL5 → Experts

4. Copy GoldStar_Pro_EA.mq5 into this folder

Step 2 – Compile the EA

1. Press F4 to open MetaEditor

2. Locate GoldStar_Pro_EA.mq5 in Navigator

3. Double-click to open

4. Press F7 to compile

5. Confirm “0 Errors” in the log

Step 3 – Attach to Chart

1. Open a chart

   • Recommended: XAUUSD (Gold)

   • Recommended timeframe: H1

2. Open Navigator → Expert Advisors

3. Drag GoldStar_Pro_EA onto chart

4. Adjust input settings

5. Click OK

Step 4 – Enable Algo Trading

1. Click AutoTrading button (must be green)

2. Confirm smiley face appears in top-right corner of chart

1️⃣ Trade Entry Logic

Triangle Breakout

• Detects contracting price structure

• Enters on breakout confirmation

Flag Continuation

• Identifies trend + consolidation

• Enters in trend direction

Double Bottom / Top

• Detects reversal structure

• Enters after confirmation break

Support / Resistance Breakout

• Identifies key price levels

• Enters on strong momentum break

2️⃣ Position Sizing Formula

Risk Amount = Account Balance × (RiskPercent / 100) Position Size = Risk Amount / (Stop Distance × Pip Value)

This ensures:

• Compounded growth

• Controlled exposure

• Consistent percentage risk

3️⃣ Trade Management Flow

Trade Opens ↓ Price moves in profit ↓ BreakevenPips reached → Stop moves to entry + buffer ↓ TrailingStartPips reached → Trailing activates ↓ Price continues → Stop follows at defined distance ↓ Price reverses → Stop hit → Profit secured

4️⃣ Emergency Protection

If drawdown exceeds MaxDrawdownPercent:

• All open trades close immediately

• EA pauses trading

• Alert notification triggered

EA Not Trading

• Check AutoTrading is enabled

• Verify session time settings

• Confirm news filter not blocking

• Ensure MaxDailyTrades not reached

No Smiley Face

• Right-click chart → Expert Advisors → Allow Algo Trading

• Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Enable all boxes

Compilation Errors

• Update MT5 to latest version

• Ensure file is in:

      MQL5 → Experts
  

• Recommended Timeframes: H1, H4

• Recommended Instruments: XAUUSD, Major Forex Pairs

• Recommended Broker: ECN/STP with low spreads
