SmartBTC — Hybrid BTCUSD Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5

SmartBTC is a hybrid EA designed for BTCUSD (crypto CFD) trading in MT5. It combines a signal-based entry approach with a trend/flat filter and an active trade management layer. The goal is simple: structured entries, fast profit protection, and configurable recovery logic for high-volatility markets.

• Hybrid trade management: active trailing for profit protection + optional DCA/grid rescue module (configurable).
• Trend/flat filter: helps align trades with market conditions and avoid weak/noise periods (can be disabled).
• Direction control: BUY only / SELL only / BOTH modes.
• Adaptive grid step: classic geometric step or ATR-based adaptive step (depending on settings).
• Basket controls: maximum number of levels and maximum total volume limits.
• Risk guards: equity drawdown limit, margin usage limit, spread limit, volatility spike guard, maximum series duration, cooldown after a finished series.

• Symbol: BTCUSD / BTCUSDm / Bitcoin CFD (your broker naming may differ).
• Account type: Hedging mode is recommended for full multi-position logic.
• Chart timeframe: any (defaults are optimized for intraday workflow; use M15 to start).
• Testing: Strategy Tester → “Every tick ”, then optimize parameters for your broker.

1. Install SmartBTC from the Market and run a backtest on BTCUSD with default settings.
2. Check how the EA behaves in different volatility periods.
3. Fine-tune risk limits, trailing, and recovery module parameters to match your deposit and broker conditions.
