Risk & Safety

Every trade starts with Stop Loss and Take Profit already set, and they do not change.

Optional Break-Even, Trailing Stop and Partial Close functions are available.

Balance protection:

Max Daily Loss => daily loss protection (stops trading when daily loss threshold is reached).

Total drawdown => protection calculated from the highest balance / equity peak.

Filters & Trade Control

News Filter => 2 news calendar sources + news display on chart.

Time Session and Day Filters => restrict trading by session hours and days of week.

Spread Filter => avoids trading when spread is above your limit.

Max Trade Holding Time => closes trades that exceed the configured holding time.

Settings

Stop Loss and Take Profit in points. Please note: in Pip Hunter, unlike in many other EAs, changing SL and TP values will change the number of trades. Trades with SL and TP which do not fit the current market situation will be skipped.

Magic Number => unique EA identifier. Use a different Magic Number when running multiple instances on the same symbol.

Markets & Accounts

Designed and optimised for ForEx pairs, but also works with Metals, Indexes and Crypto (broker/symbol conditions apply).

Works on both Hedging and Netting accounts.

Low leverage requirements => works even on 1:30 (recommended 1:100).

Recommended Pairs

Pip Hunter is designed for major ForEx currency pairs. My favourites are EURUSD, GBPUSD and EURJPY. You can also try other pairs.

Broker and Leverage

Pip Hunter is not broker sensitive, you may choose any broker you trust. The lower the spread is, the better.

Recommended leverage is 1:100. 1:30 is also OK.

VPS

Pip Hunter can work on both the VPS solution from MQL5 and a regular VPS with desktop access.

What to Expect

5-20 trades per week per pair, depending on current market volatility and EA settings.

No "get rich quick" solution.

There will be losing trades among the wins.
