DoubleRSI — Dual RSI Crossover Indicator with Signal Filters

Description

DoubleRSI displays two RSI lines with configurable periods on a separate window and generates buy/sell signals based on crossovers between the two RSI lines within defined price zones.

How it works

A buy signal is generated when the short RSI crosses above the long RSI while the long RSI is within the configured buy zone (default 50-70). A sell signal is generated when the short RSI crosses below the long RSI while the long RSI is within the configured sell zone (default 30-50). Signals are displayed as arrows both in the indicator window and directly on the main chart.

Filters

Two independent filters are available to reduce false signals, each can be disabled individually by setting its value to 0.
The crossover strength filter ignores crossovers where the gap between the two RSI lines at the moment of crossing is below a defined threshold.
The range filter ignores signals when the long RSI has not moved enough over a defined number of candles, indicating a ranging market.

Alerts

The indicator can trigger a screen popup alert and/or a mobile push notification when a signal occurs on the most recently closed candle. Mobile notifications require a MetaQuotes ID configured in MT5 options.

• Long RSI Period (default: 14)

• Short RSI Period (default: 7)

• Buy zone lower/upper levels (default: 50/70)

• Sell zone lower/upper levels (default: 30/50)

• Arrow appearance (color, size, offset)

• Minimum crossover strength (default: 0.5, 0 = disabled)

• Range detection period (default: 10, 0 = disabled)

• Range amplitude threshold (default: 8.0)

• Popup alert on/off

• Mobile alert on/off
