The Ultimate Risk Calculator is a lightweight in-chart Expert Advisor (EA) designed to help you easily and quickly calculate position size and set stop-loss / take-profit levels with full control over risk management directly on the chart.
What it does?
It turns manual risk decisions into fast, visual, and accurate calculations. You draw or adjust the Entry, Stop-Loss and Take-Profit lines on the chart. The EA instantly computes the correct lot size so that your risk stays exactly at the level you chose, no matter the instrument or distance.
Main features in the current version:
- Three risk modes (cycle with one button):
- Risk %: classic percentage of account balance (default 1%)
- Risk USD: fixed dollar amount you are willing to lose
- Fixed Lots: use a fixed lot size (useful for prop-firm rules or strategy testing)
- Three order types (cycle with one button):
- Market: instant execution at current price
- Limit: pending order better than current price
- Stop: pending order worse than current price (breakout / reversal)
- Commission handling
You can enter round-turn commission per lot (two-ways). The EA subtracts it from the risk budget (so real risk never exceeds your chosen %) and adds the equivalent points to TP when “Comm in TP” is checked.
- TP Multiplier
Freely editable field. Defines how many times larger the take-profit distance should be compared to stop-loss distance (default 2.0 → 1:2 risk-reward).
- Visual feedback on chart
- Entry line (blue) auto-snaps to market price in Market mode
- SL (red) and TP (green) lines are freely draggable
- Direction label shows LONG / SHORT with color coding
- Entry,S Stop, TP, Lots, Risk and Profit labels always showing your position data
- Clean in-chart floating panel with all controls
- Execution
Press the green “Place Order” button or use hotkey **Shift + T** → the EA sends the trade (market or pending) with the calculated volume, SL and TP.
