Explosion Trend MT5 is a momentum and volatility based indicator designed to detect strong market activity and filter low energy conditions.

The indicator combines:

• MACD based momentum acceleration

• Volatility expansion using standard deviation

• A dynamic dead zone filter based on market range

Signals are generated when trend strength, volatility expansion and market activity align.

Core Logic

Trend strength is calculated from the difference between fast and slow exponential moving averages. The change in value is amplified by a sensitivity parameter to measure momentum acceleration.

Momentum is displayed as a color histogram showing:

• Increasing bullish momentum

• Weakening bullish momentum

• Increasing bearish momentum

• Weakening bearish momentum

Volatility Expansion

Volatility is measured using standard deviation over a configurable period. The explosion line rises when market volatility increases.

Dead Zone Filter

A smoothed true range calculation defines low activity conditions. Signals are filtered when volatility remains below this level.

Buy and Sell Signals

Signals are generated only when:
