How It Works
Step 1: Range Formation
The indicator waits for the first 4 hours of the trading day (00:00-04:00 GMT) to establish the daily range. The highest high and lowest low during this period become the key levels for the entire day.
Step 2: Breakout Detection
When price closes outside the established range, the indicator marks a breakout:
· HIGH Breakout: Price closes above daily high
· LOW Breakout: Price closes below daily low
Step 3: Retracement Signals
After a breakout, the indicator waits for price to retrace back into the range:
· SELL Signal: After high breakout, when price closes back below daily high
· BUY Signal: After low breakout, when price closes back above daily low
Step 4: Pattern Confirmation
Additional confirmation signals at range boundaries:
· Pin Bars: Long wicks with small bodies
· Engulfing Patterns: Strong reversal candles
· Double Tops/Bottoms: Key reversal patterns
