Gold News Shield Pro automatically protects your Gold (XAUUSD) positions during high-impact economic news events. It uses the MT5 built-in Economic Calendar with a proprietary Gold Impact Score (GIS) system that calculates how each event specifically affects gold prices.

Gold Impact Score (GIS)
Each event receives a score from 0 to 100 based on event type, historical gold volatility, and forecast deviation:
CRITICAL (80-100): NFP, FOMC, CPI, Fed Chair Speech
HIGH (50-79): GDP, PPI, Retail Sales, Unemployment Claims
MODERATE (20-49): ISM, Consumer Confidence, Durable Goods
LOW (0-19): No protection applied
Six Protection Strategies
Assign a different strategy per impact tier:
1. Full Close - close all positions, optional restore after news
2. Partial Close - close configurable percentage, move rest to breakeven
3. Trailing Tighten - temporarily reduce trailing stop distance
4. Hedge Mode - open opposite position to neutralize exposure
5. Remove SL/TP - prevent stop hunting during wide spreads
6. Pause EA - set GlobalVariable flag to pause other EAs
