DaneTrades Liquid Reflex is an automated Expert Advisor for MT5 built around a mean-reversion approach with basket-based trade management. It is designed primarily for EURGBP on M15, where ranging and reverting behaviour can suit the strategy well, but it can also be adapted to other mean-reverting symbols when properly optimised and tested.

Instead of relying on frequent scalping activity, Liquid Reflex focuses on structured entries, measured recovery logic, and basket-level exits. How Liquid Reflex works

Liquid Reflex opens an initial trade when its mean-reversion conditions are met. If price continues moving away from the entry, the EA can build a recovery basket using configurable spacing and lot progression rules. The basket is then managed as a whole, using the weighted average entry price across all open positions.

When price returns to the defined basket target, the EA closes the basket together rather than handling each position independently. This structure is designed for markets that often retrace after short-term displacement, which is why EURGBP M15 is the main recommended setup. Other symbols with similar mean-reverting behaviour can also be used, provided they are optimised and validated carefully rather than assumed to behave the same.

Trading approach

Liquid Reflex is not a trend-following EA and it is not designed as a high-frequency scalper. The strategy is built around filtered mean-reversion entries and basket recovery management when required.

The recovery process is configurable and bounded. It is intended to be more structured than an unrestricted martingale approach by combining spacing controls, progression logic, basket exit calculation, and hard risk limits. This allows the EA to manage adverse movement within predefined rules rather than opening positions without limits.

Behaviour and trade handling

Only one active basket per direction is intended for the same symbol and magic number. While a basket is open, the EA is designed to manage that position sequence rather than continuously opening fresh initial trades in the same direction.

Depending on settings and market conditions, trades can remain open for extended periods while basket management plays out. Liquid Reflex is designed for structured basket handling rather than very tight stop losses or rapid turnover.
